Hire CFO
Tim started his career working for Deloitte Touche. He left to work for General Mills and was one of the initial executives that started The Olive Garden Restaurant chain. He later became CFO of Orlando’s largest commercial real estate company now owned by Trammell Crow. Tim’s last stop before going into consulting was as CFO of Merrill Lynch’s theme park portfolio in Florida. Tim led the team that wrote the business plan that aided in the sale of the business to Ogden. He spent several years in acquisitions for Ogden.
Tim contracts for additional talent depending on the nature of the project and the unique requirements of the job. He has utilized Robert Half and Deloitte Touche for special engagements, and he continually networks with many CPA firms and independent CFOs.
The founder of Hire CFO is Tim Hanley. He has been consulting and performing duties as a part-time CFO for over eighteen years. His most recent assignment included assisting the 4th largest U.S. theme park operator in acquisitions, financial systems development, and strategic and tactical cash flow modeling. Other recent projects included positioning and packaging a large internet advertiser for sale, resulting in offers exceeding $45 million that were triple its prior offers. Tim produced financial models that were instrumental in the successful development of the U.S.’s newest theme park in New Orleans. He served as the part-time CFO of Alfa Smart Park (owner of Wet N’ Wild Waterparks), and the Pebbles Restaurant chain in Orlando.
